Nectar AI NSFW settings and content rules

Nectar supports mature fictional roleplay for adults. The NSFW switch changes what appears in the catalogue; content rules still apply to conversations, characters and generated media.

Return to character browsing

Choose what appears in the catalogue

Use the NSFW switch near the browsing filters to change the results you see. Turning it off selects SFW browsing; character creation also has preferences you should review.

A visible profile is not permission for every possible request. Browsing controls determine presentation, while moderation considers the actual content and context.

An adult setting still has limits

Adult-oriented features are for people aged 18 and over. Keep scenarios fictional, adult and consensual. Restrictions include minors, non-consensual sexual material, incest and unlawful exploitation.

Words such as uncensored are not a waiver of those restrictions. Images and video remain subject to the content rules as well as text conversations.

Respond to a warning through the review route

An unsafe-message notice may concern the character setup or earlier scene, not merely the last word you typed. Read the warning and review the surrounding context.

If the decision appears mistaken, use Appeal where available or explain it to support. State the lawful scene you intended; repeated attempts to get around a block are not a review process.

Make age and agency clear in the story

Clarity helps establish the scene. It does not replace an age requirement or authorise a request that has been prohibited.

Useful answers

Questions: Adult access & content rules

Can the NSFW switch turn Nectar's filter off?

No. It affects which catalogue results appear, not whether content rules apply. Moderation remains relevant to chats, characters, images and video.

Which Nectar AI features are NSFW?

Mature fictional chat and supported image and video options are for adults aged 18 and over. Access depends on the feature and account; the content rules continue to apply even with NSFW browsing enabled.

What does an unsafe-message warning refer to?

It can reflect the meaning of the current conversation and its setup. Review the character, scenario and earlier context, then appeal a genuine mistake through the offered review option.

Should I disguise a request to get past a block?

No. Keep the scene lawful and within the rules. If moderation has misread it, ask for review instead of changing wording to evade the decision.
